My Review:

My hair is pretty thick and curly. Plus, every two weeks, I'm compelled to dye the grey strands of hair that grow along my hairline. Argh! Between the heat and color, my hair routine could lead to very damaged hair. To stay on top of it and keep my hair on my head, I'm constantly searching for conditioners that have enough moisture to hydrate my hair. This one has it.

I know when I've hit the hair conditioner jackpot because soon after I apply it to my wet hair I can feel it being transformed from hay to threads of silk. Giovanni Smooth as Silk Deeper Moisture Conditioner has that wow factor. The amazing part and real win? Because it's sulfate free, this is a product I can share with my daughter.

I've been using Smooth as Silk Deeper Moisture for about a year and it seems to be doing wonders for my hair. The breaking has been reduced to a minimum and my scalp is not itchy anymore.

Lately, I've been trying other products by Giovanni and I'm pleased with the results. They're priced reasonably. I'm usually able to pick up a huge bottle of Giovanni's shampoos and conditioners for about $14.99 at Winners or Marshalls. You could also buy it online.

Try it and see how it grows!

My Secret? Olay Regenerist Multi-Sculpting Cream

I've always looked pretty young for my age but soon after my 40th birthday, I noticed that my skin was changing. I was losing my glow. I was dealing with little random dry patches, a very oily T-zone and mini acne breakouts that I hadn't seen since my teens. I couldn't seem to link these new symptoms to a change in my diet or a new product I was using. Then it hit me, the change my skin was going through was very normal for women over 40.

A lot of women in their 40's experience dryness, an oilier T-zone, and a return of acne. These symptoms are usually the effect of hormonal changes related to premenopause and menopause. Stress and having a sweet tooth can help to bring on adult acne too. I've been using Olay's Regenerist Multi-Sculpting Cream for a while and it works for me. It gives my skin just the right amount of hydration and has reduced the acne breakouts to a minimum. It's exactly what my skin needs and has become a regular item in my stash of skin …

Parkas for 2015 Winter in Toronto

2015's fall/winter in Toronto has been pretty mild but the cold, snowy days of winter have started. If you don't have a good winter coat yet, I suggest you get out there and find one ASAP. Finding the right coat at a good price is not easy but I think I can help.

Check post, updated in 2018, on where I've find warm winter coats or parkas in Toronto.

Here are some places where I think you may get lucky...
